Obras de Ligeti, Kagel, Cage e Young adaptadas para o órgão histórico português da Paroquial da Ajuda, Lisboa. Órgão construído no séc. XVIII por António Xavier Machado e Cerveira, restaurado em 1988 por António Simões. A realização destas obras utilizaram diversas interpretações e funcionalidades não ortodoxas- Estas sonoridades são atípicas no órgão, mas beneficiam à já vasta panóplia acústica do instrumento. O ouvinte é convidado a percorrer esta viagem sonora pelo mundo visceral do órgão. É possível ouvir este álbum em modo binaural, necessitando apenas de utilizar auscultadores. Poderá usufruir a versão estereofónica em qualquer sistema de som.
Works of Ligeti, Kagel, Cage and Young, adapted for the historical Portuguese organ of the Ajuda Parish, Lisbon. Built in the 18th century by António Xavier Machado e Cerveira, restored in 1988 by António Simões. For the realization of these works, several interpretations and non-orthodox functionalities were used. Atypical sounds of the organ that add to the already wide range of acoustics of the instrument. The listener is invited to a sonic journey into the organ’s visceral world. It is possible to listen to this album in binaural mode, just by using headphones. You can enjoy the stereo version on any sound system.
