This Lab – LIM – ”Laboratório de informática musical” – is a facility for research into electronic and computer music, and assists in the study of, and experimentation with, specific areas of music such as real‐time interaction, spatialization and sound creation, as well as high level of research on sound analysis and auditory perception.
It provides essential facilities for academic research into electronic and computer music, and is crucial to the Master in Music and Technology Program, a truly important landmark in academic teaching and research into music and technology.
